MasterCast is composed of precisely manufactured pulverized marble, polyester casting resin, pigments, catalyst and polyester gel coat. The chemical reaction initiated by the catalyst causes the material to generate heat and become very hard and strong. After demolding, the pieces are buffed and polished. Color and pattern of color are determined by the pigments; surface texture is determined by the mold. The raw materials and physical properties are identical no matter whether the finished piece looks like marble, slate or ceramic tile.

NOVA Kitchen & Bath has been manufacturing MasterCast since 1983. We have a 50,000 square foot production facility on location in Arden, North Carolina. MasterCast products are molded to form a variety of shapes that meet today’s design needs. Our standard, solid, onyx, granite, Terra Bella and TruStone™ lines incorporate over 100 colors. At NOVA, customization is our specialty. Whatever your design calls for, we are your one stop solution.
TruStone™ is the result of a unique process called Photofuzion™ that combines beautiful images of granites, natural marbles, and travertines with the standard MasterCast process. Heat and pressure are utilized to fuse the imagery into the gel coat of the product. The result, TruStone™, has the aesthetic appeal of natural stone at a significantly lower cost.
